tox
WHAT IS TOX?
There are a few different brands of tox, Botox being the most popular, Dysport, Xeomin, and Jueveau. Tox is a drug used to temporarily paralyzes certain facial muscles to smooth out wrinkles caused by excessive facial expressions.

It is a very quick, only about 10 minutes long. A very tiny needle is used to inject the tox and should be minimal to no pain.

Results will be noticed around 3-5 days with the peak results showing at 2 weeks. Your results will last you around 3 months before the drug is completely metabolized.

No downtime. Just no exercising or wearing hats for 24 hours and no facial treatments for one week afterwards.

Minimal side effects include headache, swelling or bruising at the injection site, lid ptosis, feeling of heaviness in the face.

This depends on the areas you are wanting to treat. The FDA recommended dose for botox in the forehead, kybella, and crows feet is 64 units. Please note that this dependent per person and units may vary.
WHEN SHOULD I START TOX?
Tox is a prescription medication that should be used to prevent facial wrinkles. Once you have resting lines/wrinkles, tox will not be able to take them away completely. Indications for cosmetic purposes are between the ages of 18-65.

WHAT ARE DERMAL FILLERS?
There are a few different fillers on the market. The fillers I use are made of hyaluronic acid gel. Which also means that these fillers are dissolvable. They are not permanent and may last you up to 2 years. Results are seen immediate and may be used to plump lips, fill in wrinkles, and contour the face.
HOW MUCH FILLER WILL I NEED?
Filler comes in 1ml syringes. 1ml is just enough to fill a small blueberry. The amount of syringes will depend on the area and what we are trying to achieve.
Here is an example of an average of syringes per area:

WHAT IS PRP?
PRP stands for platelet rich plasma. We achieve this with a simple blood draw, spin it in a centrifuge which separates the plasma from your blood. PRP can be used to treat dark circles under the eyes, restore recent hair loss, or be used with microneedling to regenerate skin cells of collagen and elastin proteins. PRP is a form of regenerative medicine that can harness those abilities and amplify the natural growth factors your body uses to heal tissue.
I HAVE A SPECIAL EVENT COMING UP, WHEN SHOULD I PLAN TO GET MY TREATMENT DONE?
For botox/dysport, plan to get your treatment done 3-4 weeks in advance. It takes a full 2 weeks to see the peak results of tox. Touchups are normal and should be done at a 2 week follow up. At 3-4 weeks the tox should look fabulous!
For fillers, plan to get your treatment 2 weeks in advance. With fillers, you will experience swelling and bruising. Everyone is different in the duration of these side effects, so plan to get your fillers done at least 2 weeks before any special occasions so that you can properly heal.
For PRP injections, plan to get your treatment 1 week in advance. We typically inject under the eyes for dark circles. You will be puffy, kind of like allergies, for a few days. It does take 4 weeks for PRP to stimulate the regenerative properties. This treatment requires 3 to 6 sessions spaced out 4-6 weeks apart for optimal results.
For microneedling, you will need 1 week to fully heal. The first 24 hours I do not want you putting any makeup on. You will be red, like a sunburn, for 2-3 days and then your skin will shed/peel for the next 2-3 days.
For Kybella, you will be swollen for the first 72 hours. Please avoid exercise, fried and salty foods, and anti-inflammatories during this time. You will need 2-4 sessions balanced out 4-6 weeks apart for optimal results.

PMP POLICIES
Appointments
To ensure that you get an appointment for the date and time you desire, we suggest booking all appointments a few weeks in advance. Our Website displays the most up-to-date availability. Please note that we require a credit card to reserve your appointment. All injectable appointments will require a $100 deposit at the time of booking which is non-refundable and non-transferable.
Cancellations
As a courtesy to our providers and other patients, please provide a minimum of 24 hours notice should you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment. You will be charged $100 if an appointment is canceled or rescheduled less than 24 hours in advance or if there is a no-show. You will also forfeit your booking deposit if applicable. If you arrive more than 5 minutes late for your appointment, you may be required to reschedule to avoid disrupting other clients’ appointments. In this case, the $100 late cancellation fee will still apply. There are no exceptions to
these policies. To ensure the best experience for all Poke Me Pretty clients and team members, clients who exhibit disruptive or aggressive behavior or have a history of no- showing appointments may be denied the opportunity to schedule treatments.
Returns + Refunds
We do not accept returns or refunds of any kind for any service. Membership
due will not be refunded for any reason If you would like to return your
purchased skincare product, return the item in its original packaging unopened
within 30 days of purchase. We do not accept returns on opened or used
products. We do not accept returns or refunds on gift cards.
For Model Calls, all pre-payments are non-refundable and non-transferable.
These appointments also cannot be rescheduled without forfeiting your place
and pre-payment.
Consultations
We provide consultations and in-depth skin analysis with our expert provider. This consultation is a $100 flat fee and is non-refundable and non-transferable. We believe an informed client with realistic expectations will be most satisfied with our treatments and results. Our consultations include education about your unique skin type, a comprehensive discussion about all options available to you, both immediate and long term, and a clear plan of action based on your individual goals. We also provide complimentary skincare consultations with
our licensed aestheticians. If you arrive more than 5 minutes late for your appointment, you may be required to reschedule to avoid disrupting other clients’ appointments. In this case, a $100 late/cancellation fee will apply. See our Cancellations section for more details.
Child Policy
To ensure the safety of children and the enjoyment of all clients, we ask that parents or guardians make other arrangements for children while receiving their services. Children who visit Poke Me Pretty during their parents' appointments, or children who are unattended in the waiting area, can pose a health and safety risk due to the nature of our business. An adult must accompany children under the age of 18 receiving services. Please understand that our concern is for the safety of your child. We hope you will aid us in keeping Poke Me Pretty a safe environment. Don’t hesitate to get in touch with us if you have concerns or questions about this policy.
Pet Policy
For the health and safety of our clients, Poke Me Pretty has a No-Pets policy. Although we love animals, we ask that you please leave your pet at home during your visit to Poke Me Pretty. Only working service dogs are permitted. Poke Me Pretty complies with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), allowing access for all individuals to public places; therefore, we allow working service dogs to accompany our patients. Service animals are individually trained to perform work or tasks for people with disabilities. Service animals must be leashed or harnessed except when performing work or tasks where such tethering would interfere with the dog’s ability to perform the work or tasks. Dogs whose sole function is to provide comfort or emotional support do not qualify as service animals under the ADA. Under ADA regulations that became effective on March 15, 2011, there are no protections for emotional support animals in terms of access to public accommodations and public entities. The Department of Justice has stated that emotional support animals are not protected as service animals under these regulations. Should you arrive to an appointment with a pet that is not a service animal, you will be asked to remove the animal from our offices. To avoid any disruption or inconvenience, we ask that you please leave your pet at home. Thank you for your cooperation and consideration of all our clients.
Film + Photo policy
Clients, or a friend of a client, are prohibited from filming, recording, or taking
photos of a provider or esthetician in a treatment room or anywhere on Poke
Me Pretty property. If you would like to film, please seek written approval from
Poke Me Pretty’s Marketing Team or Practice Manager.
Privacy Policy
Your privacy is essential to us. The following outlines our privacy policy to help you understand how we collect, use, communicate, disclose, and use personal information. Before or at the time of collecting personal information, we will identify the purposes for which information is collected. We will collect and use personal information solely to fulfill our specified purposes and for other compatible purposes. We will only retain personal information as long as necessary to fulfill the specified purposes. We are committed to conducting our business in accordance with these principles in order to ensure that the confidentiality of personal information is protected and
maintained. You can permanently disable your account and remove your information from our database at any time by sending an email to pokemeprettyaz@gmail.com. You can see what information is deleted and what we continue to store after the
account is disabled in our privacy policy. These terms remain in effect after your account is disabled. We collect information automatically as you navigate the site or through our analytics providers. We may store usage information such as the type of device you use to access our Website, including IP address, device ID, the pages you visit or request, links clicked, referring sites, user interactions, and your search
terms. We also derive your location from your IP address.

We are based in the United States. By using our services, you consent to transfer your personal data to the United States and to the processing and use of that personal data in the United States. This processing and use are limited to what is described in this privacy policy and the terms of use. We may use your information to offer you products and services that we think may interest you unless you have opted out of marketing communications. If you are in the European Economic Area, where required by applicable law, we will obtain your consent before sending you any marketing communications. You may object to using your data for direct marketing purposes at any time, free of charge, when we collect your personal information, and in every marketing communication.
